Clinical Pharmacology

Dianabol is an oral compound with a significant effect on protein metabolism creating a positive nitrogen balance, supporting the skeletal muscle mass. Dianabol is a derivative of testosterone and has very strong anabolic and androgenic properties. Dianabol is indicated for replacement therapy in males for conditions associated with deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone. Primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), testicular failure due to cryptorchidism, bilateral torsion, orchitis, vanishing testis syndrome, or orchidectomy. Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), idiopathic gonadotropin or LHRH deficiency, or pituitary-hypothalamic injury from tumors, trauma, or radiation.

Dosage and Administration

Dianabol is for oral use only. The suggested dosage for Dianabol varies depending on the age, sex, and diagnosis of the individual patient. Dosage is adjusted according to the patient's response and the appearance of adverse reactions. Some experts have advocated lower dosages initially, gradually increasing the dose with or without a decrease to maintenance levels. Other experts emphasize higher initial dosages and lower dosages for maintenance therapy. Typical dosage range for males is 100-200 mg per week.
